About the Artist

Howdy! My name is Meg and I’m an East Nashville based multidisciplinary artist. I work predominantly with oils but I have been known to dabble in acrylic, watercolor, and the occasional crochet.

I’d describe my work as an embrace of my identity: an amalgamation of the feminine, the macabre, the southern and gothic and most importantly, expressions of the things that make me happy.

I also hold an M.A. in English Literature and currently teach English at a local private high school.

When I’m not in the studio or classroom, you can find me with my two familiars, Pickle and Olive, collaborating with my husband, Ed, gardening, practicing yoga, holding seances, perfecting the dark arts… it’s a toss up really.
